Hi there! My name is Brianna da Silva, I am 19 years old, and I am passionate about digital art. From graphic design to 3D modeling, from web design to desktop publishing, from video editing to gaming, and everything in between, I love it all; and I crave to learn it, master it, utilize it, and teach it. That's why I'm a student at Full Sail University, studying Digital Arts & Design, and that's why I have this blog; so I can share with you the tools and lessons I learn, bringing you along on this exciting adventure with me.
Prior to starting this blog, I was a blogger for three years. My major passions are filmmaking and writing novels, and it is in these realms that I intend to apply my emerging skills as a digital artist. Upon graduation from Full Sail, I plan to launch an independent digital arts/photography/video business. My ultimate goals are to produce feature films.
So far, my experience in film has included a year long internship with Advent Film Group, and production assistant work on two feature films ("The Screenwriters" in 2011 and "The Senior Prank" in 2012). I am currently writing my first novel, which I hope to publish when it is finished. (You can follow the status of my novel at my first blog.)
If you like any form of digital art, photography, or filmmaking, this blog is for you. I hope you get something out of it, and that I look forward to hearing from you, too. Let this blog be interactive -- share all your thoughts, insights, and knowledge!
So, what do you say?
Will you journey with me?
Hey, thanks for making this blog! I, for one, am interested in digital art and design. I don't have many programs. So far, I only have Paint.net, Windows Expression Design, and Windows Expression Blend.
ReplyDeleteNoah, thanks for your comment! I'm sorry I took so long to respond; I forgot to turn on comment moderation, and I didn't notice your comment right away.
DeleteIf you're looking for more programs, and have any interest in 3D design, I'd recommend checking out daz3d.com's free software bundle. They're giving away Daz Studio Pro, Bryce Pro, and Hexagon (normally $800 worth of software) for a limited time. It's a great opportunity to take advantage of, if you're interested at all in that kind of digital art!
Hey, I can't believe I didn't notice this before! I am NOT an artist myself, but I have sooooo many inspirational ideas - entertainment from God :) - that it drives me insane to just sit with them and do nothing. I hope you reach tremendous skill with this art work. You're already an inspiration to me. :)
ReplyDeleteKay, thanks for your comment! Sorry I took so long to respond (see what I wrote for Noah's comment!). I know that frustrating feeling of having an image in your head that you can't share! Thank you for your words, they mean a lot. :-)
